Teaching Research Methodology to Undergraduate Students Using Collaborative Learning Approach in a Blended Learning Environment at Saudi Electronic University

Research methodology courses have become an important requirement for students in many undergraduate programs Saudi Arabia. The purpose of this case study is to explore students’ perceptions using collaborative learning (CL) a research course. This course undergraduate-level that taught the Department English Language and Translation at Electronic University (SEU) blended environment. Also, aims understanding effects introducing group projects into curriculum on experiences from their points view. In addition, sheds light how perceived distribution workload within groups. current employed qualitative methods collect data by distributing questionnaire with open-ended questions. were collected 137 enrolled three different branches SEU Riyadh, Jeddah Dammam. analyzed thematic analysis provide rich description generate themes. findings revealed majority participants believed CL environment had positive impact experience. as both beneficial challenging. most felt was distributed equally among members. Based findings, recommendations are discussed promote effective higher education.
